Not at all. Our community is interdenominational and welcomes Christians of every tradition — Protestant, Catholic, Orthodox, Charismatic, and beyond. What unites us is our shared faith in Christ.

What Christian denominations are most popular in Bulgaria?

Bulgaria is historically and predominantly an Orthodox Christian country, shaped by its centuries-long ties to the Eastern Orthodox tradition and its geographical position in Southeastern Europe. The Bulgarian Orthodox Church is by far the largest denomination. However, most Orthodox churches conduct their services in Bulgarian, and we don't currently know of any that offer English-language services. For international visitors and English speakers, we highly recommend visiting any of the English-speaking churches listed on our page.
